Bright Sparks Bushcraft is a company built on the philosophy that everyone has a fire inside them and using the outdoors we can spark our students imaginations and understanding of the outdoor environment. 

By taking the main elements of Bushcraft, Fire, Water, Shelter, Craft and Nature, you will enthused about the outdoor natural environment. Going back to basics will also help you in everyday life as it will enable people to help you clear you mind and think “outside the box”.

About me

Andrew Bryan

I am the founder and Head Instructor of Bright Sparks, have always had an interest in the outdoors and nature.  I grew up in Scouting starting as a cub scout to now being a qualified leader at the same group I attended over 25 years ago.   I get immense pleasure in sharing my skills and seeing how the young people grow and develop into confident adults. 

After leaving school I studied Horticulture and then ran my own successful gardening business for several years, spending much of my time in the outdoors for work and for leisure too with many sole overseas trips and frequent hill walking and camping expeditions. 

I am currently nearing completion of an intense NCFE  Level 3 Bushcraft Leadership Course.  He also holds:-

•First Aid at work and advanced Explorer First Aid Award. 

•BEL (Basic Expedition Leadership) Qualification, enabling him to lead walking expeditions in lowland Britain

•Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.
